Shiny Toy Guns is an alternative rock / electronic band from Los Angeles that formed in 2002. They are best known for their innovative use of social media and dynamic style of music. Their debut album 'We Are Pilots' sold over 300,000 copies, was Grammy- nominated in 2007 and saw breakthrough hits "Le Disko" "You Are The One" and "Rainy Monday". Their follow-up album Season of Poison saw a change in lead vocalists and a change in musical style, yielding hits "Ricochet!" and "Ghost Town". The band went on to record a cover of "Major Tom" by Peter Schilling for their remix album Girls Le Disko, which was highly popular and featured in a Lincoln MKZ commercial. In 2011 the band welcomed back its original singer, Carah Faye Charnow and is now preparing to release its third album.
