Guster Announces Summer Tour

Guster will embark on a summer tour on August 2nd in Hyannis, MA wrapping up in Columbus, OH on September 4th. During this five-week run, the band will bring their inimitable and fun brand of alternative rock all over the United States. They will co-headline most dates with Jack’s Mannequin, an American alternative-rock band lead by frontman Andrew McMahon.

Guster continues supporting its latest release, Easy Wonderful, but this tour will also mark the release of a special edition EP, including new material and never released rarities. Since the debut in October, Easy Wonderful peaked at #22 on the Billboard Top 200 and clinched the #2 spot on the Alternative Albums chart. The album’s sunny and extremely hummable first single, “Do You Love Me” was a Top Ten single on the Adult Alternative Album charts, and the band has just released their follow-up single “Architects and Engineers.”

(More information and dates below.)

The band has released a unique and extremely engaging video for "Architects and Engineers" featuring rock 'n' roll's favorite puppet, Singalong Paul. With Paul's help, the band give the lilting song, sunny visuals that perfectly match it. Directored by Adam Bizanski whose previous work includes videos for the Shins, Wolf Parade, Foals, etc.

Guster's live performances have become legendary. The group continues to inject humor and heart into every single show that they play, and they're only getting better at it as they continue down the road.

Pre-sale for almost all shows will begin April 11 at 10am via Music Today: http://guster.tickets.musictoday.com/Guster/calendar.aspx
