USA Today Features Family Of The Year As The "On The Verge" Artist; 2013 Tour Continues

USA Today features Family Of The Year as their “On The Verge” emerging artist. The much-coveted honor is in tandem with hit track “Hero” landing at #1 at Triple A Top 30 Radio Chart. “Hero” continues to chart in the Top 15 at Alternative Radio and shows no signs of slowing down.

Earlier this year, the band performed “Hero” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CONAN, Last Call With Carson Daly and CMT Edge (Country Music Television, Inc.); and Entertainment Weekly includes the band in their special feature, “15 New Stars We Love.”

The “Hero” official music video about real-life bull rider Nicolas Sartor, gets added to MTV2 and MTV’s “Artist To Watch.” To watch the video, click above.

In the past, the band has had support stints with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Mumford & Sons, Walk The Moon, Grouplove, Good Old War, Belle Brigade, Milo Greene and others. With their first headline tour of 2013, the band sells out shows across the country, including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Nashville, Denver, Portland and more. This summer, the band will make a run of festivals, including Lollapalooza (Chicago, IL), Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI) and Kanrocksas (Kansas City, KS) – more to announce in the coming weeks.
