Scars On 45 Premiere Video For "Crazy For You"; Top 20 At Triple A; Fall Tour Announced

British alt rock/pop band Scars On 45 have premiered their new video for single “Crazy For You” with Yahoo Music. Director DJay Brawner (Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, The Used, Gym Class Heroes) who previously worked with the band on their 2011 video for “Give Me Something,” takes the viewer on an endearingly quirky (and even slightly sci-fi leaning) journey of early romance. The lead single from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album and Nettwerk debut Safety In Numbers (October 7, 2014), “Crazy For You” is quickly climbing the Triple A Top 30 Chart, landing at #18 this week.

Of the video, vocalist/guitar player Danny Bemrose says, “Although the song is hugely personal to us, it's also pretty self-explanatory and universally relatable. I think we've all secretly longed for someone at some point...some of us more than others. We wanted a video that kept the general theme of the lyrics but that was also a bit different and weird...I think we definitely got that!”

Scars On 45 have also announced an extensive fall tour, starting September 19 in San Francisco with a short run supporting Better Than Ezra. They’ll follow those dates with various one-off headline shows across the country before joining Augustana as support on November 24 in Orlando, FL. All dates are listed below.

Safety In Numbers is a collection of 11 impassioned rock songs, reflecting on the last four years of their lives and what those experiences had meant for them as humans. “Golden,” the album’s anthemic opening number, and “This Is Not Your Love Song,” a surging, hook-laden rocker, represent the band’s entry points into the collection, both setting the tone for what Safety In Numbers eventually became. “Crazy For You,” the disc’s first single, is cathartic and lovely, its propulsive chorus offering a plaintive sense of longing. The album glides through various emotions, revealing the sheer joy of experiencing your dream to the discontent that comes with leaving home and relationships for so many years.

Scars On 45 released their self-titled debut in 2012, which landed at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Already a favorite among film and TV music supervisors, the band’s gorgeous melodies, driving instrumentation and boy/girl harmonies caught the attention of VH1 who chose them as a coveted You Oughta Know Artist. They made their national TV debut on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and received media support from the likes of USA Today, People, Entertainment Weekly, Paste, Spin, Billboard and more.

Scars On 45 is Danny Bemrose (vocals/guitar), Aimee Driver (vocals), David “Nova” Nowakowski (piano/keyboard) and Chris Durling (drums).
