Current Swell Announces North American Tour With Cat Empire

Canada’s Current Swell announce a run of Spring tour dates with Cat Empire, starting in Vancouver, BC on April 3 at Commodore and wrapping on April 25 in Honolulu, HI. A full list of dates is below.

"We always love hitting the road to play live and especially excited to head south with The Cat Empire and share new music with our fans," says bandmember Scott Stanton.

The band will return to the States to perform songs from their latest effort Ulysses, the “best record of their career” (Pittsburgh In Tune). Current Swell’s undeniable energy has taken their native Canada by storm, landing the band at #1 on the Rock iTunes chart, #10 on the Alternative Albums Chart and a career high Top 50 debut on the Top 200 chart. The latest single “Rollin’” was recently the #1 most added track at Alternative Rock Radio and is now #18, in the competitive format's Top 30 chart.

Current Swell’s raucous live show has earned the band scores of fans across the Americas, Australia and Europe. Whether along the festival circuit or on the road as support for such acts as Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Dispatch, Xavier Rudd, K’Naan, and The Tragically Hip, Current Swell never fail to get audiences on their feet.
