Lily Kershaw x Goody Grace Release Haunting Duet Version Of "Now & Then"

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lily Kershaw has recorded a new version of her moving song “Now & Then” with Canadian singer/songwriter/producer Goody Grace. The addition of Grace adds a new layer of emotion to the already melancholy track, which was originally featured on Lily’s acclaimed sophomore album, Arcadia. The song is available at digital retailers HERE.

Lily explains how the two artists came together: “Goody reached out to me through Instagram to let me know he had found ‘Now & Then’ and absolutely loved the song. It really resonated with him. We ended up becoming friends, and he came out on stage at The Troubadour with me to sing it live as a duet. A couple weeks later he sent me a recording of him singing it, and I just fell in love with the new version. I am so excited for people to hear it. I think it is very special!”

Goody adds, “I first heard of Lily’s music from the discover page of Apple Music. I was instantly hooked & reached out to show love. A few weeks later, we performed a duet version of 'Now & Then and instantly knew we had to record an official version. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and it’s very complimenting that it’s coming out my favorite time of year.”

Lily’s sophomore album Arcadia was released last year and received praise from the likes of CNN, Vulture, Refinery29, Earmilk, American Songwriter and more. It followed up her critically acclaimed debut album Midnight In The Garden (2013) and follow up EP Lost Angeles (2018). In song and spirit, Lily is an old soul, but upon initial meeting she's kinetic, ebullient, lively, and kind, quick with a joke and an infectious smile.  Lily is a compulsive creator, she jots down melodies and lyrics as she’s wandering through her days. Born and mostly raised in Los Angeles, she offers an antidote to the long-mythologized Los Angeles glitz; she’s authentic, and honest, self-effacing and, above all, she is herself.
