Hadouken! To Release 'Oxygen' EP January 18

Yesterday, NME.com premiered the video (above) for title track, "Oxygen," from Hadouken!'s forthcoming EP (release date: January 18). The Oxygen EP contains both album and remix versions of the new track and their last single "Mecha Love." Both singles wear Hadouken!’s dance/rock sound on their sleeves and further highlight the band’s position at the cross-section of dance and guitar music.

Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw had the world exclusive for "Mecha Love" in October 2010, with further support from Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens. Late last year, the band released "People Are Awesome," a video montage set to "Mecha Love" that is an awe-inspiring collection celebrating the impressive force of the human mind and body. In its first three days, the video had more than a million views and today, it stands at 17.6 million viewers.

The Oxygen EP, and forthcoming third studio album (the follow up to 2010's For The Masses), has been produced with fast-rising drum and bass duo Xample and Lomax, the latest leading lights from the Ram Records stable.
