Admiral Fallow Unveil New Video For Holding the Strings And Announce Tour

The gorgeous video for Holding The Strings (out 1st June), which premiered on Mahogany, was filmed, edited and directed by Ben Cowie, and Wake Up Advice

Holding the Strings is taken from Admiral Fallow's forthcoming Tiny Rewards (out May 25th) and is available to download instantly if you digitally pre-order the album. Following on from 2012’s critically acclaimed ‘Tree Bursts In Snow’ an album that saw the band shed the constraints of nu-folk and swell into a more organic design, blending traditional with electronic, orchestral and indie; Tiny Rewards sees the band continue on the same expansive path. Previously Louis (Abbott: lead vocal and guitar) was at helm; now the song writing is an entirely collaborative process, each member’s individual skill and talent as important as the other.

As a Glasgow band prone to self-deprecation, Admiral Fallow will probably wince at the plaudits Tiny Rewards is about to receive. Heartbreakingly beautiful, sonically audacious and lyrically bewitching would fit the bill. The quintet, however, would more likely describe Tiny Rewards as a dozen songs from an 18-month experiment to do something different. Catch them on tour this May / June, at the dates below.
