Canadian Music Week 2010 is in full gear in Toronto and Nettwerk is playing a big part in the week of events!
Our very own CEO Terry McBride is the Keynote Speaker at this year's music industry conference. Speaking Friday morning, Mr McBride's seminar is entitled "Real Time Artist Mentoring." Nettwerk co-founder Mark Jowett will also be lending his expertise to several panels today, tomorrow and Friday including "The 10 Commandments For Aspiring Publishers" and "Rights and Royalties: How Songwriters Get Paid."
New Nettwerk signing Kidstreet play tonight at Sneaky Dee's, showcasing their hi energy indie dance live show. Morgan Page will be in town to rock the decks at This is London on Friday night. Closing off the festivies are the Great Lake Swimmers who have been tapped to play the closing awards ceremony at the Royal York Hotel. The band could be in for a big night, with two Indie nominations for Best Album and Best Roots Album.
