Cub Sport Share Video For "I Can't Save You"

Critical praise for “I Can’t Save You”:

Indie Shuffle  - “An animated and charmingly retro triumph. Punchy in all the right places…”
PopularTV - “infectious hooks and airy vocals, Cub Sport’s single is a sweet one…”
Howl & Echoes– “A glimmering exercise in synth-driven indie-pop...”
I Heart Moosiq – “a wonderfully hooking swirl of gooey synthpop and hazy dance rock…”

Brisbane’s Cub Sport has shared the video for single “I Can’t Save You” from their upcoming full-length debut, This Is Our Vice (March 4th). The video, which portrays the downward spiral of a soap opera star, compliments the lo-fi lament of the track about the blurry line between desire and neediness. On closer look, one can spot the band as members of the production crew.

In addition to the new video, Cub Sport had two other premieres within the last week. They released the track “Come On Mess Me Up” via Hilly Dilly and a lyric video for “Stay” on The 405.

Cub Sport - Tim Nelson (lead vocals), Zoe Davis (guitar), Dan Puusaari (drums) and Sam Netterfield (keyboard) - first caught attention Stateside with their Told You So EP. The blissed-out, anthemic title track vaulted into the top 20 of the CMJ college-radio chart, and the band spent the following year impressing at various seminal festivals around the world, including Brighton’sThe Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Music Matters Singapore and multiple packed rooms during NYC’s CMJ Music Marathon.
