Gossling Announces First U.S. Tour; Includes CMJ Music Marathon & Culture Collide Festival

"The singer-songwriter is a musical chameleon, who can churn hook-filled songs that sound like Lana Del Rey spent a lot of time listening to Coldplay…it's piano ballads with haunting melodies that will stick in your head for days." – TIME

“both dramatic and danceable” – New York Magazine

“Whatever pause this Australian's childlike voice gives you is almost immediately erased by the sophistication of what unfurls next. She's part Lykke Li, part Feist, and not an iota less interesting than either.”— Esquire

“A traditional pop sensibility structures elements of wandering, atmospheric electronica, while crescendos of rich instrumentation give the collection a classical touch. And then there’s Croome’s singular voice: Utterly sweet, but with the thick complexity of honey, rather than a childlike or cheeky bubblegum smack” – MTV World

“Melbourne’s Gossling is an act on the rise… Croome’s stunning vocals are placed on full display, backed perfectly with a rich, full musical arrangement which reveals a band at the top of their game” –
Indie Shuffle

Melbourne’s Gossling (aka Helen Croome) is set to make her North American debut with the release of Harvest Of Gold on September 23 (available HERE via Nettwerk Records). Croome’s voice has an extraordinary timbre and it’s this distinction that makes her instantly recognizable. Check out Gossling’s cover of “Riptide” by country-mate and friend, Vance Joy.

In support of the release, Croome will embark on her first proper tour of the states. Known for her enchanting live presence, dates will include a special show at Culture Collide in San Francisco and Los Angeles, before heading east for CMJ Music Marathon (dates below).

Asia’s biggest global retailer, UNIQLO, has chosen a cast of brand ambassadors renowned for their significant professional achievements that demonstrate unique experiences, daily life and personal style. Collectively, the five UNIQLO Australia brand ambassadors will front the new advertising campaign that launches later this month. Better known for her soul stirring music, Gossling had already teamed up with several retailers to express her personal style sensibilities, including a limited edition lipstick color with Shanghai Suzy. Written in Tasmania and realized in Melbourne, alongside producer John Castle (The Bamboos/Vance Joy/Washington), Harvest Of Gold is ten tracks of gorgeous pop songcraft – a rich blend of plucked harps, guitar climaxes and retro, European disco. A diverse and captivating talent, Croome’s gorgeous effort is destined to be one of 2014’s best debut releases. After returning from this year’s SXSW music festival, Gossling was chosen by the likes of Elle, Esquire, Buzzfeed, TheFourOhFive and the Austin American-Statesman as an Artist To Watch in 2014. She is also a favorite of TV music supervisors, with songs featured on popular television shows, including American Horror Story, Nashville, Gossip Girl, Graceland and the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance.
