Run River North Announce Fall Dates; Watch Performance At Pandora Office

Los Angeles-based Run River North announce a run of Fall dates, following the already announced tour with Australia’s Boy & Bear. During the summer, the band embarked on their first US tour, selling out dates along the way, including Los Angeles' famed Troubadour and New York's Bowery Ballroom.

To support the upcoming tour, Run River North stopped by the Pandora offices to perform “Growing Up” from their self-titled debut (out now). "Growing Up" will also be used in the Ron Howard produced film, The Good Lie, featuring Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon (Out October 3).

This follows an already stellar debut year, which includes performances with VH-1 "Big Morning Buzz," CMT's "Country Concrete," The Wall Street Journal, Last Call With Carson Daly, NPR Here & Now, NPR Weekend Edition with Scott Simon,PBS Artbound,Daytrotter, KCET "Studio A" music series, Acoustic Café, a sold out show at Amoeba Hollywood and Lexus: Music Uncovered, a CBS pre-Grammy special exploring Los Angeles hot spots and up and coming bands. They also premiered their first official music video for lead single Fight To Keep” on TeamCoco, the official website of Conan.

Prior to getting a record deal, the band recorded and filmed a viral video for “Fight To Keep” in their Hondas using GoPro cameras. The video experiment led to a Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance and a Bronze Lion Award at Cannes Film Festival. Run River North returned with an equally brilliant video for “Excuses” from their album.

Recorded with record producer Phil Ek (Band Of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Built To Spill, The Shins), Run River North deals with themes of hope, struggle and identity. Debuting on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart at #3, the overlap of Asian and American folk is subtle, reflecting the hyphenated existence of the band members.
