For those about to rock, those waiting to be “discovered” while practicing hard and coming home late nights from their respective creative endeavors, the outback-to-L.A. front row success story of the production and songwriting team of Andrew Bojanic and Liz Hooper—now better known collectively as The Wizardz of Oz—is an inspiring one. This musical Aussie duo, working their own live shows and writing and producing for independent artists, films, television and advertising campaigns in Port Douglas, Australia, in 2001 caught the ear of The Matrix Group production team. Bojanic and Hooper became assistants to The Matrix and after further honing their songwriting, production and recording crafts on Matrix-produced songs for Avril Lavigne, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, Liz Phair and others branched out on their own in 2003. They’ve been far too busy ever since then to look back on their good luck.
 
The Wizardz’ songwriting, producing and recording credits include tracks and albums for Vanessa Hudgens, Cheetah Girls, Hawk Nelson and Krystal Meyers. Their songs can be heard all over the television and big screen, having had songs used in such shows such as Heroes and Desperate Housewives, and movies such as Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants and Two For The Money. They’ve also enjoyed success on the radio with a Krystal Meyers song reaching #1 on Christian Radio USA; and their production work with the Dutch band Krezip netted the band #1 album and #1 single success in the Netherlands. Bojanic and Hooper have recently also built their dream studio near L.A. in Valley Glen, California, called Emerald City.
