Glasgow-based artist Martha Ffion has shared the music video for her latest single “Wallflower,” available now. The 60s soaked, guitar lead track is another glimpse at this intriguing talent, following on from her Turnstile debut “So Long.” Classic 60s style song writing, combined with a tougher edge (think Sharon Van Etten, Cate Le Bon) result in a refreshing contemporary sound, fully justifying the support Martha Ffion has already received in the UK from Marc Riley and Mary Anne Hobbs on 6music and Huw Stephens on R1.

With GoldFlakePaint citing Martha Ffion as “an artist that seems ready-made for wider acclaim,” her February UK tour is a chance to see one of the most promising young artists around.

Martha Ffion on tour:

4th – Underdog, Aberdeen
5th – Glasgow, Hug & Pint
6th – Newcastle, Think Tank
7th – Liverpool, The Shipping Forecast
25th – London , Servants Jazz Quarters
26th – Brighton, Prince Albert
27th – Bristol, The Crofters Rights
