International duo "JoSH:" awarded "Musical Band of The Decade"

Toronto, Canada

The 1/2 Indian and 1/2 Pakistani international band "*JoSH*" was awarded the Anokhi Prestige Award for "*Musical Band of The Decade*". The band is comprised of Rupinder "Rup" Magon, who was born to a Kenyan-sikh family in Montreal, and Qurram "Q" Hussain who's roots come from Pakistan and Oman. Their unique backgrounds and influence have been their recipe to an original sound that is like no other. They are both very honored to receive this achievement award from Anokhi Media. They were also the finale act of the awards ceremony which also recognized international celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra and Jay Sean. They ended the show with a *completely live set* including five guitars, two latin cahone percussion instruments, as well as a *gospel choir*. JoSH is known to continuously set higher standards in the south asian music industry and have done so once again with this brilliant live performance.
