Frazey Ford 2015 Polaris Music Prize Long List Nomination

Nettwerk congratulates Frazey Ford on her inclusion in the 2015 Polaris Prize Long List with her latest critically acclaimed solo album Indian Ocean.
 
Now in its ninth year, the Polaris Music Prize, honors the best Canadian music from the past year. A $50,000 award will be presented to what the esteemed jury of voters deem to be the best Canadian album released between June 2014 and May 2015. The list will be narrowed down to a short list of 10 on July 16 at The Carlu in Toronto, culminating with a gala at The Carlu on September 21.
 
The nomination is the latest acknowledgment in the ever-growing acclaim for Indian Ocean, which Frazey follows up with her new video for “Done,” that premiered on NPR. Catch Frazey Ford on the road this summer with several festival performances across Canada. A full list of festival dates are below.
